Hypnobirthing Masterclass Course - Group or Private
Booking Terms & Conditions - please read prior to booking a course

By signing up to a group or 1:1 course with Kate Chisnall at Happy Birth Coach you are agreeing to the following.
Payment:

For all courses there is a non-refundable £50 deposit. If paying in full, the first £50 is classed as the deposit which is non-refundable.
For both 1:1 and group hypnobirthing courses there are two options to book:
· For a group course this is via the website/linktree on Instagram and paying a deposit or full payment directly through Ticket Tailor.
· For a private 1:1 course this is via the website/linktree on Instagram and paying a deposit or full payment directly through Calendly.
If you decide to opt for the deposit option – this secures your booking. The balance of the course fee must be paid in full 1 calendar week before the first session of the course. I will email you with BACS or paypal details to be able to make final payment. Once the full payment has been received, course fees are non-refundable except under exceptional circumstances (see below).
Payment is made for the full length of the course as advertised.
Cancellations/Rescheduling of sessions:

In the event of cancellation by a participant (group or 1:1) prior to the start of the course, the £50 deposit is non-refundable. In the event of cancellation by a participant after the first session of the course has been completed, no refund will be given.
In the unlikely event of a cancellation of a session (group or 1:1 / online or in-person) by myself, attempts will be made to reschedule at a time convenient to all members of the group/the client (if 1:1) and where venue availability allows (if this is a group in-person course). If this is not possible, a live video link session will be delivered in place of the in-person session.
Group sessions - If a single participant is unable to make the date the majority agree on, consent will be sought of the group to record the session and if agreed, the recording will then be sent to the absent participant. If alternative dates/a live video link session/a recording of the live session cannot be provided, a refund for the session(s) not yet taken will be given. The refunded fee per session will be calculated as the total fee, after deduction of the non-refundable £50 deposit, divided by the number of sessions in the course. No refund will be made for the session already taken.
In the unlikely event of a cancellation of a whole course (group or 1:1) by myself, attempts will be made to reschedule. If this is not possible, or alternative dates cannot be agreed, a full refund of the total fee will be given.
If for any reason an in person course (group or 1:1) cannot take place for example extreme weather, venue difficulties or government guidelines, the event will either be rescheduled, the course will take place over live video link or a recording of the live video will be provided.
Group Course in the event of low booking numbers:
If there is only one client booked onto a group course, you will be given the option to defer your course dates and take your course at a later stage (if dates permit this) or you will be offered to take the course as a 1:1 private course (group fee will be honoured). Please note that the course will take place at a private studio in Taunton or within your home if the location permits this. This is at the discretion of Kate Chisnall and will be discussed with you no later than 48 hours prior to the course date.
If there are two clients booked onto a group course, the course will take place at a private studio in Taunton. This is at the discretion of Kate Chisnall and will be discussed with you no later than 48 hours prior to the course date.
If you go into labour:
If a booking has been made and the client goes into labour prior to the start of the course, the deposit is non-refundable – if the final payment has been made but the course is yet to begin, a full refund will be given (less the £50 deposit).
Private 1:1 clients, where your course is split across 2 sessions - If the course has started and the first sessions has been completed, then the client goes into labour and is therefore unable to attend session 2, a 50% refund will be given once the non-refundable £50 deposit has been deducted.

Rescheduling Sessions:

Group session dates cannot be re-arranged unless one of the above circumstances occurs, as outlined within the cancellation section.
For participants taking a private 1:1 course, 48 hours’ notice must be given in changing appointment dates or times. Where this is not done the participants will be liable for the session fee calculated as the total fee, after deduction of the non-refundable £50 deposit, divided by the number of sessions in the course. Exceptions may be made in exceptional circumstances.
Travel costs (only applies to 1:1 client bookings):
Happy Birth Coach provides 1:1 courses at the clients’ home addresses where they live within a maximum distance of 10 miles (each way – total of 20 miles for a return journey – fee applies, see below) from the centre of Taunton. Clients who live outside of this radius are requested to make an enquiry prior to booking and consideration will be made as to if the location is viable on the dates required.
Travel costs are included within a 5 mile radius of Taunton town centre (5 miles each way). Once travel exceeds 10 miles for a return journey, 40p per mile will be charged.
General:

Participants take part in Hypnobirthing sessions with the understanding that the content of the course is in no way intended to be taken as medical advice.
Participants should seek the advice of a health-care provider to answer any health-related or pregnancy-related issues surrounding their pregnancy, their labour or their birth.
Happy Birth Coach cannot be held responsible for any decisions that you make regarding your pregnancy and birth.
Any questions or doubts you have about your individual use of Hypnobirthing should be taken up with your health care professionals.
Taking a Hypnobirthing course in no way guarantees a certain birth outcome.
The resources given to you are for your own personal use and should not be distributed to third parties. Again, these do not represent medical advice. Please note that for group online course clients, an emailed PDF of the client workbook is provided to the client rather than a paper copy.
